Lots of tourists in town.
St. Patrick’s Day full moon at the beach.
A great place to eat and drink.
Lots of beach, no people, and the surf temperature is a chilly 65 degrees.
Almost always the risk of a rip.

As viewed from the Fernandina Beach marina along the Amelia River.

Stacked against us day and night.

It looks bad and it is. There’s no other way to see it. Air pollution is just that, chemicals and toxins spewed into the air 24/7.

Plane Spotting – Gulfstream Aerospace G-V

Gulfstream G-V spotted at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport on the last day of the 2022 Amelia Island Concours d’ Elegance.

Tail number N37AL was built in 2000.
The Gulfstream G-V is an ultra-long-range jet that is typically outfitted with three cabin zones and has a range of 6,750 nm. There were 192 produced from 1995 – 2002.
Gulfstream jets have oval-shaped windows.
