A day at the beach. Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach. The clouds in the distance are cirrus clouds from Hurricane Erin. The surf was up, but I’ve seen worse. I’m glad this storm missed the US.
The clouds you see in the distance are cirrus clouds from the hurricane.Always at the ready. The surf was up, but not bad.Beach parking is only allowed in a few places on Amelia Island. The island has about 13 miles of Atlantic coast.Hurricane Erin is heading north.

I have two Martin County, Florida, House of Refuge Bicentennial Medals (1776-1976) and one Sears Centennial Coin (1886-1986).Remember these?US and Canadian coins.Lens caps and a Leica Inspection Tag (Hang Tag).A vintage loupe with its original box.
I found a box in my home office-studio with some cool old stuff. I put these on Mercari in case someone might have a desire to add them to their strange stuff box.

Mamiyaflex C2 and Mamiya 23 Standard Mamiya’s big boys! (not pictured is the RB67 and 645 family) I have the 6×9 back on the 23. The standard lens is the Mamiya-Sekor f3.5 90mm with a Sekosha-S shutter. The 23 is an affordable option for 6×9 format, and of course, the Mamiyaflex C2 is one of the best early TLRs. As pictured, the C2 weighs 1,596 grams, and the Standard weighs 1,999 grams without film. I enjoy the 6×9 format and regret selling my Fujica GW-690. The Standard’s date code is ‘FD’, which indicates that it was made in April 1966. www.ccstudio2380.com

This isn’t a souvenir picture; my grandfather drove a horse-drawn Borden’s milk wagon, and my dad, Paul, grew up around horses. He’s about 6 or 7 in this photo.
