Green – outside my studio window

After a brief rain shower.
Overlooking the wetlands outside my studio window.

I know Florida is almost unbearably hot and humid but I’ll take the green it supports any day.

Happy SUNday! – a sharp Panasonic Lumix from 2008

Here is another super nice digital camera from Panasonic – the Lumix DMC-FZ28.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28. A 10-megapixel bridge camera with an 18x optical zoom lens from Leica.
It is fun to use a digicam with a sharp CCD sensor for film-like images.
It has excellent macro capabilities.
The Leica lens has a zoom range of 27 to 486mm (35mm equivalent).
Super telephoto image at 486mm.
Wide-angle at 27mm.
Complete image stabilization in addition to the 18x zoom.

This fantastic camera is available in my camera shop at http://www.ccstudio2380.com.

Mint condition and thoroughly tested.

Happy SUNday!

White-tailed deer (young buck) visiting my backyard NWF wildlife habitat.
Making his way through the ferns.

I hadn’t seen a deer in my yard in the thirty-plus years that I’ve lived here. Part of my yard is wetlands with a small creeklet running through it and at times some small ponds form after heavy summer thunderstorms. This deer has been spotted around the neighborhood over the past two months – he has a severe injury to his right rear leg and for the most part, he can’t use it. Having said that, he looked healthy and responded to my presence. He doesn’t appear to be sick. There are coyotes in the area so I’m hoping he can stay ahead of the various predators and rut as this is the time of year for that in my part of Florida.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! – Chris

Happy SUNday! – Holiday Weekend

The 4th of July weekend is well underway here on Amelia Island. The beaches are quite busy and as always, the City of Fernandina Beach is out in full force protecting our locals and tourists alike.

Image captured with my Kodak EasyShare CCD digicam.

The Kodak EasyShare Z1015 IS is a wonderful “mini-bridge” 10.1 MP digital camera that produces film-like images. It’s amazing just how nice these cameras are with CCD sensors. It’s available in my camera shop at http://www.ccstudio2380.com

What makes this camera a standout is the super sharp Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon 28mm to 420mm 15x optical zoom lens. The camera stands head and shoulders above other CCD sensor cameras from that period. Shooting with a “vintage” digicam is a rewarding experience.
A 10.1-megapixel CCD sensor and HD video. It consistently captures the most life-like images.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the other cameras and photo gear in my shop at CC Design Studios at http://www.ccstudio2380.com – Chris
