Unique Yosemite Backpack – Camera Tote

As I continue to downsize my collections of stuff (mostly cameras and photo gear), I run across a few items now and then that I believe my readers would find interesting. So here I am “hawking” my stuff again! You can purchase it directly here through my blog via PayPal and I’ll even mail it for free to a US address.

Vintage Yosemite Backpack / Camerabag

Vintage Yosemite Logo Backpack – Authentic backpack purchased at the Yosemite NP gift shop. 100% Cotton with a polyester lining. It’s about 10 inches tall, 5 inches deep (front to back) and about 8 inches across. It holds a standard 35mm SLR, a small digital DSLR or tablet with ease. It’s a really cool backpack that easily carries just about anything without being overly large. It has a split zippered adjustable shoulder strap and a small zippered card pocket in front and a zippered compartment inside. That zipper inside is off its track but the rest all work perfectly. It also has a magnetic snap flap closure and a drawstring to keep everything safely inside. The inner polyester lining turns out for easy access to your stuff. One-owner, smoke and pet-free home. Super clean and a rather HTF design and style. I can mail it almost worldwide so please contact me first at ccphotographyai@gmail first or message me here for a quote. USA addresses I’ll mail this FOR FREE!

Happy SUNday! – Remembering Expo 67

It’s hard to believe that Expo 67 was 54 years ago – I remember most of our trip and stay in Montreal but not that much of the event except, I remember meeting one of the hostesses (not these exact ladies) and having my picture taken next to her and another taken with a Canadian Mountie. I know where the Mountie picture is but I can’t find the other. Perhaps I’ll scan the Mountie pic for another Sunday.

Perfect 1960s style just right for Expo 67.
The Kodak Instamatic 104 camera she’s holding was released in July 1965 and retailed for just under $20 (that’s quite a bit of 1960s money). The 104 was the first to feature the new flashcube and like all early Instamatics used the newly developed 126 film cartridge. The 104 was replaced by the 124 in 1968.

If only we could see through walls, life would be…

Easier? Harder? Less private? Fun?

Which do you think? I pick…

There we go. If only we could see through the roof think of all the clouds we’d see.
A plane but not much else.
Move closer, change your perspective – see more.
The way some people see the world.
That’s better. Take a wider view of things – be more open (you’ll see more and be happier).
Peaceful sunrise along the Northeast Florida coast (Atlantic Ocean).

Fun!

Friday Fotos! – MM camera strap

We love collecting Disney stuff especially when it also relates to anything camera related. We have this rather colorful Mickey Mouse cloth camera neck / shoulder strap.

I believe we purchased it in the 1990s and never used it. It’s been on display (UV light protected) with our Disney cameras.
Real strap clips with protectors. It’s about 47 inches long (adjustable) by 2 inches wide and has elastic bands on the back to hold up to three film cans. The backing is a really nice sift velour fabric.
Here’s a neat little Mickey Mouse camera with a cute bag that Carol made just for it.

1979 sure looks old (and ugly)!

An advertisement from The Saturday Evening Post, January-February 1979. Even back then this was an ugly car and time hasn’t helped.

Good day, all! My camera shop http://www.ccstudio2380.com is filled with an eclectic mix of some really cool and rather rare items this month. Here’s a small sample.

There’s a little bit for most everyone in the shop from rare historical pictures to vintage film and of course, classic and vintage cameras and photogear collectibles. I’m about to list a few Fuji and Fujifilm cameras from my personal collection – a new in the box Fuji Discovery 90 35mm camera set and a new in the box Fuji Discovery 3000 Zoom 35mm camera set. I’m always open to offers and if there’s something you’re looking for to add to your collection just contact me at ccphotographyai@gmail.com – I just may have what you’ve been looking for.
