Happy SUNday! – fun with Fuji

ISO 800 color film was made for shooting in full sunlight to be able to take advantage of the film’s full capabilities.

I’ve decided to sell my Fuji. It’s available in my camera shop at http://www.ccstudio2380.com

The Fujifilm Instax Wide 300 is one of my all-time favorite instant film cameras. The large 62 x 99mm picture is a format that I more easily relate to (6 x 7cm). The fill-in flash feature is nice since it “fills in” shadows in bright sunlight which is the best way to take advantage of the color and sharpness of the film. I haven’t used the Mono Chrome film yet so I don’t know how well it actually performs. Thanks for stopping by, Chris

Fujifilm and Fernandina Beach

The Fujifilm Instax Wide 300 does a respectable job under bright sunshine and blue skies. Here’s a few images from a walkabout in the Historic District of downtown Fernandina Beach (Amelia Island), Florida.

I think Fujifilm’s Instax color film is an excellent film as it appears to handle high contrast scenes well. With the limitations of the camera’s lens just don’t expect sharp pics even when focused at infinity.

The camera and the Instax film really shine when used outdoors under full sunlight. Focus on infinity and hold the camera very still. I believe the ISO of the film is 800.
Also available is Instax Wide Monochrome film at the same ISO.
