Happy SUNday! – rare Pokemon Center New York baseball cap

It’s down to the final 12 hours of bidding on my rare Pokemon baseball cap on eBay (item # 285182215981). We purchased the cap at the Pokemon Center New York in the Summer of 2002 which was soon after the store opened in the heart of the City. It’s time to pass it along.

It was made in a limited number and few have survived twenty years on.

Port and Company is a maker of limited-run hats with unique designs.

If you’re a fan of anything from the early days of the Pokemon Center New York than this is for you. Very few hats ever come up for sale at auction. Check out my eBay store if you’re interested or just curious.

Pokemon Cards in the shop!

How about a few hard to find Pokemon cards for your collection? I just may have what you need. I’m selling off a rather large collection of cards – here’s a sample of some of the first cards I’ve listed.

Ultra rare 1999 Topps Pokémon TV Animation Edition Series 1 Foil 3rd Printing collectible card with debossed teardrops and flames.

Due to a printing error, the “Topps” logo (bottom center) should be green vice black. All of these special foil cards should be green to match the rest of the 3rd printing in Series 1. Confused? To a collector (my kids) this is cool stuff so that means its cool stuff to me too! Of all the characters that my kids were followers of I personally enjoyed the Pokémon the most.

If you’re a regular reader (or curious visitor) you’ve hopefully picked up that we (Chris & Carol) enjoy sharing images of cameras that have crossed our paths over these many years. You may have also noticed that while we post countless images of cameras, lenses and what not, we’re not overly technical when it comes to photo gear. We’re not going to “beat you over the head” with needless specs of the gear we share – just (hopefully) good imagery of the wide-world of photography.

With that said, we’d like to share an image of a camera that never fails to make us smile –

Our son Timothy’s first (and only) camera – a Pikachu 35mm with genuine Pokemons inside! Tim just loved this camera and it’s an important part of our collection still.
