Hi Chris,
Love your site and depth of information. Can you confirm I am reading a serial number correctly in your opinion for my Electro AX?
The serial number is 30100040
1972, January 40th camera?
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Al,
Thanks! You’ve got an early one – 3=1973 and 01=Jan. It was number 40 in that month. Is it a black or silver camera and is the original lens still with it? – Thanks, Chris

Thank you for the information. It is the silver version and I believe it to be all original. The lens is Yashinon-DS 50mm 1.7. Everything is very clean. Still has the plastic insert in the flash shoe.
