great post and I have some kodak books that I just cannot part with – and your post reminded me about Kodachrome’s powerful formal presence

I miss the excitement of opening a box of freshly processed Kodachrome slides from Kodak. It was like Christmas nearly every week of the year!

By the way… have you heard about the movie??
The movie “Kodachrome” is about a dying photojournalist, Ben Ryder (played by Ed Harris), who asks his estranged son, Matt Ryder (played by Jason Sudeikis), to drive him across the country to Dwayne’s Photo in Parsons, Kansas. Ben wants to develop some old rolls of Kodachrome film before the processing of the film ceases forever.
