Chasing Classic Cameras with Chris 
I am trying one of these right now. Unfortunately, the battery compartment is completely jammed, so I am being fully manual. It is the second one I have tried as the first had a mirror lockup issue. They are VERY easy to find here, so I just scrapped that and got another to try the two lenes I found.

Sorry to hear that. I’ve haven’t had much experience with the Spotmatic – I can imagine they are plentiful in Japan as they were made for years and were a big seller for Asahi.
Sounds like a good deal to find so many cameras in these various shops. Christmas 24/7
